Rashers of thick-cut streaky bacon seared hard until the fat renders and the edges catch and char. Served warm on a wooden board with a heap of more house pickles alongside. A prelude. An indulgence. You know where this is going.

The legend. A hand-pressed prime beef patty seared on a screaming grill, crowned with aged cheddar melted under the flame. Thick-cut bacon. House-brined dill pickles, cold from the jar. A heap of peppery arugula. Cradled in a toasted brioche bun. And then: the Special Sauce. Always the Special Sauce. That is a tasty burger.
